Marc emphasized that as public markets become increasingly indexed and correlated, we believe a significant portion of equity and fixed income allocations—which have historically been public—will shift toward private assets, as investors seek more diversified and resilient strategies for long-term growth.
He also spoke to Apollo’s ability to meet the growing capital needs of sectors driving the “new industrial renaissance” – including the energy transition, power and utilities, and digital infrastructure – and how Apollo’s proprietary origination ecosystem can provide innovative financing solutions for complex, large-scale projects. In speaking to Apollo’s overall origination capabilities, Marc highlighted the firm’s spectrum of specialty vehicles, and added, “almost no one has built what we've built.”
