During an interview with Bloomberg’s Dani Burger, Apollo Co-President Scott Kleinman covered a wide range of topics including our commitment to generating excess return for investors, the role of private credit as a fixed income replacement, and how we are partnering with companies facing growing capital needs related to the “new industrial renaissance.”
On our commitment to generating excess return, Scott said, “there is no shortage of asset managers providing beta out on the market. The key is to be able to provide alpha. And everything we do, the entire way we tune our business is to find those places where we can find excess return in the market, and our investors appreciate that.”
Additionally, Scott discussed the potential benefits of private markets investments for individual investors, given its role in increasing diversification, lowering volatility, and generating excess return.
